Mid-Autumn Gathering for Co-Building,Jointly Protecting Cybersecurity

On September 17th, as Cybersecurity Week and the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, HMC joined hands with Kang'an Community, which planned and organized the event, to visit Youxie No.3 Primary School for the volunteer activity "Civilized Surfing on Campus, Mid-Autumn Poetry for Young Hearts". A session dedicated to helping students stay safe in the digital world and celebrating traditional poetry was held at the school.

The HMC Cybersecurity Engineer opened with the presentation "Safe Surfing, Happy Growth — Guarding Our Digital Home". She explained youth online hazards, including identifying online traps, firmly rejecting cyberbullying, preventing internet addiction, etc., and shared practical tips for young cyber guardians. The session helped children build cybersecurity awareness they could apply and share, empowered them to engage with the virtual world rationally and safeguarded their physical and mental health.

With the seeds of cybersecurity awareness sown, community volunteers led students in reciting Mid-Autumn poems. Moonlight flowed through the children's voices and rhyme echoed in the rise and fall of tones. Then HMC volunteers and community staff guided the kids step-by-step in making book lamps. Pasting, folding, lighting — a bit challenging at times, yet lamp after lamp took shape in their little hands, carrying the wish to share the same moon with loved ones far away.

The flickering lamplight danced on the children's faces, reflecting HMC's commitment to staying rooted in the community. In supporting community education, HMC regards social responsibility as its guiding lamp: tiny glimmers converge to create warmth, with a mission to protect young hearts. By turning corporate social responsibility into real action, it builds a clean, secure online haven for young people to thrive.
