The 16th Annual Civil Aircraft Industry Eco-Conference 2026 was successfully held in Harbin from May 14th to 15th. The conference was hosted by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and organized by AVIC Harbin and Shanghai Galleon Aerospace. As a key player in regional aviation manufacturing, HMC was invited to attend and actively engage in the collaborative innovation ecosystem of civil aviation.
As a highly influential global exchange platform in civil aviation, the conference, themed "Innovation and Collaboration, Manufacturing the Future," focused on green and low-carbon development, smart manufacturing, and supply chain resilience. It brought together over 300 industry leaders and more than 100 organizations from home and abroad. Participants engaged in discussions on the advancement of civil aircraft technologies, further strengthening the consensus on collaborative innovation across the industrial chain and consolidating industry-wide synergy to promote the high-quality development of civil aviation.
At the conference, the signing ceremony for “the Joint Construction and Mutual Recognition of Aviation Standards in Three Provinces and Two Municipalities: Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Liaoning, Shandong, and Beijing" was officially held. The initiative aims to establish a regional collaboration mechanism featuring "unified evaluation, joint capability building, and mutual recognition of results" to enhance aviation standardization. In the subsequent keynote report, Antonio Molina CORRIGAN, General Manager of HMC, shared the company's experience and introduced the technical challenges and solutions in advanced composite manufacturing of aerospace structural components.

HMC has been deeply committed to civil aviation for 17 years. Through this conference, it further strengthens the consensus on industrial chain collaboration and continues to empower the civil aviation sector. Moving forward, HMC will uphold openness, cooperation, and mutual benefit, working with all parties to build a safe, efficient, and sustainable civil aircraft ecosystem, supporting the high-quality development of civil aviation.
