Embracing Healthy Living, Experiencing the City's Beauty— 2026 HMC Spring Hiking Event

On May 16th , the 5.19 National Hiking Day (Main Venue), the Province-wide Workers' Hiking Event & the 14th Heilongjiang Hiking Day kicked off in Harbin as scheduled. Collaborating with nine other cities, a total of 12000 people in Harbin actively participated, stepping out of their homes, getting close to nature, and embracing a healthy lifestyle through exercise. More than 100 HMC employees and their families appeared as a team at the main hiking venue, following the long road of the riverside scenery, encountering the beauty of their hometown with footsteps, and conveying the soul of the enterprise with vitality.

The 8-km walk went from Chuang Guandong Square via Binzhou Railway Bridge to Sun Island. At 9 a.m., the hiking team set off on time and embarked on a landmark tour through the ice city. Families walked together through the old-town, seeing the historic sites that embody the city's pioneering spirit; strolled along the Songhua River, feeling the gentle breeze from its shimmering water; crossed the railway bridge, listening to the echoes of history; and wandered into the green heart of the city on Sun Island. Along the way, volunteers provided timely support, bringing warmth and care to every step.

As the surging crowd echoed the city's heartbeat, the HMC team marched in sync, finding its own rhythm. Flags flew, steps were brisk — we enjoyed the scene and moved on. We embraced a low-carbon lifestyle and added a touch of blue to the ice city's image, driven by the spirit unique to aviation professionals. At that moment, the pride of HMC and the spirit of Harbin shone as one. Every step was a view. After two hours, we reached the destination and completed the journey perfectly.

This hiking event bridged the two sides of the river. For HMC, it was more than a journey with colleagues; it was a vivid practice of health and low-carbon living. Guarding the sky is the duty of aviation professionals; standing on our homeland reflects our deepest attachment. The walk may end, but the spiritual journey has just begun. The road ahead is long. Let's keep moving forward.
