"Flying&Family"--HMC Family Day

Family Day originated from December 8, 1989, the 44 session of the UN general assemblyadopted a resolution, declared from 1994 is the International year of thefamily, the special meeting in New York in 1993 it put forward every year since 1994 on May 15, as the International Family day (International Day of Families), in order to improve the government’s decision and the public nunderstanding of family problems, promote family harmony, happiness and progress.

On July 6th, 2019, HMC held Family Day, with the theme of "flying & Family".Nearly ahundredof families, and more than two hundred people participated inthe activities happily together; enjoyed happy time with family, under the well planning of company. HMC family members felt attention and care to the families and employees of the company. The preparation of this activity lasted for amonth. In the activity area elaborately created by the staff, many kinds ofgames were wonderful, especially the children's game area prepared by the children, which was unanimously loved by the children.

The weather was clear and the clouds were white, as if heaven knew it would be good weather for family day. In the early morning, the staff of the preparation team handed out tickets, small gifts and intimate items of mineral water to the employees and their families attending the family day at the front gate.

After registration, Eric, General Manager of HMC, gave the opening speech, he said:"It's first time we hold the family day, hope you enjoy the time with your family"; Children's talent show gave us a chance to see how talented HMC children. Children with naive performance infected all present, when we see them we feel the harmony of the family can make us more motivated in work. That's why we're organizing this event.

The photo board was a great prop for employees to take pictures of it!

Caterpillar racing and Running with Ball on the Racket were the two games participated with groups, in which employees felt the importance of team work. The employees playing hard and the employees’ families and children were cheering for their families! The children also learned the importance of team work.

After lunch, the employees and their families visited the factory. Listening to the guide's explanation, the children were very excited to ask questions. “What does the elevator do?”“What does the belly faring do?” Our tour guides explained to them with easy way. Children were listening very seriously and excited, and they found out this is how airplanes are made!

After the visit was free time, the children have chosen their own favorite games; Employees and family members were playing in the Cards and Chess Game. Although the family day is short, the members of HMC family all feel what is team spirit and team work.

At HMC,"team spirit is not just a concept", but also a way to enjoy fun together. Let's look forward to the next family day together!
