Airbus COO with Team Visits HMC

On the morning of September 5th, Airbus COO, Alberto GUTIERREZ and Airbus China COO, Michel TRAN VAN with team visited HMC. Accompanied by HMC management team, they visited the workshop production to learn about the current operation of HMC and witness the delivery achievement of HMC high-quality products.

HMC management presented the company's development process, production and business, HSE management and AOS operation to Airbus visitors. They were impressed by the level of deployment and maturity of AOS. Subsequently, accompanied and explained by HMC Management, they visited the production workshop and equipment, process flow, warehouse area. By conducting a zero-distance inspection of production environment and work dynamics in the production front line, they gained a comprehensive understanding of HMC lean production, digital progress, standardized operations, safety management, etc. During the visit, the visiting team stopped to observe whenever they come to each station and carefully watched each process of the product. Both parties exchanged opinions on production management and conducted discussions.

What impressed the visitors was the level of digitalization in HMC, which makes all the information accessible to the teams in a transparently and real-time. They also liked the co-location of the support teams in the production area. These are all effective measures to significantly improve management efficiency.
