HMC Launched Information Security Promotion Month Activity

In response to the call of " China Cybersecurity Week", HMC took active action to plan and carry out a series of special activities of Information Security Promotion Month from August 21^st to September 20^th. Through video promotion, training, document release, good results have been achieved.

Antonio Molina, the GM of HMC, delivered a speech in the information security promotion video. He emphasized that information security is a key factor in HMC’s operation, ensuring information security is to maintain the core competitiveness of enterprises, and jointly protecting HMC's information assets is the responsibility of everyone. By watching promotional videos, employees have gained a better understanding of the importance and necessity of information security.

In order to let everyone better understand what is information security, the IT team organized a 2-week Information Security Awareness Training for all staff from August 21^st to September 8^th, which improved their awareness and ability to protect information security through pictures, videos and the lecturer's explanation. At the same time, in order to make employees further understand the importance of information security work and learn more prevention and self-protection knowledge, the IT team made an information security promotional manual and distributed it to all employees, encouraging them to keep their Information security knowledge in mind.

During Information Security Promotion Month, IT team also released two procedures: File Transfer System Management and Information Security Management. It added the management system related to the company's information security and the process of network access permission application, and launched a file transfer system to facilitate employees' external transmission of large files.

Through this Information Security Promotion Month activity, HMC actively advocates civilized, safe and green Internet access, improves the awareness of information security, enhances network civilization and creates a good atmosphere that everyone is responsible for information security and everyone participates in.
