HMC has launched the Earth Day Activity

April 22nd is the 56th World Earth Day. Responding to the theme of "Cherish the Earth, Harmony between Humans and Nature", HMC carried out a series of activities. We practice CSR through actions to promote green production and safeguard the beautiful planet.

Environmental Protection Knowledge Quiz

In order to enhance employees' awareness of environmental protecting, HMC played a series of Earth Day videos on a loop and launched an Environmental Protection Knowledge Quiz, which includes topics such as environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction, and waste sorting. Through a "cloud" competition, we integrate eco-friendly concepts into our daily work in an interesting way. A total of 221 employees participated in the Quiz. This visual and intellectual sharing of environmental knowledge will ultimately transform into our powerful actions for sustainability.

My Environmental Friendly Lifestyles

During our “My Environmental Friendly Lifestyles” campaign collection, everyone shared their daily environmental behaviors. In just one week, we witnessed 102 employees answering the activity through action, collected 142 touching green moments, and heard resounding eco-friendly declarations. From green transportation to energy conservation, from upcycling to waste sorting, some people have just started their journey towards eco-friendly living, while others have developed it into a habit and silently persisted for over a decade. Everyone has reignited the life of old items with creativities and unlocked infinite possibilities for sustainability through low-carbon footprints.

Explore spring in your garden

In the vibrant HMC, wandering among the greenery, we captured the diverse beauty of plants through our lenses while sharing interesting knowledge. The newly rising dandelions, the bashfully budding wild cherries, the gently swaying violets... Over 50 species of wild plants blossomed brilliantly in everyone's photos. With these plants rooted in corners or dotting the lawns, industry and ecology shine together in the HMC plant. This exploratory journey gave us a window to dialogue with nature beyond work, and to jointly strive for creating an eco-friendly working environment.

There’s just this one planet of ours, and it’s on all of us to safeguard its future by continuing to interpret responsibility with actions and explore every green choice, and contribute to low-carbon environmental protection together.
