HO AOS Global Visit HMC

On April 18^th, 2023, Martin Armas Kulik, HO AOS Global, and Jose Javier SANCHEZ-GALLEGO MELCHOR, the AOS expert from QDW, visited HMC. HMC Management attended the welcome meeting. 

Accompanied by the Beijing Airbus AOS team, Martin and his team received the report summarized about the AOS development status in past 4 years and the roadmap for 2023 in HMC.  They validated the achievement through on the Gemba in shop floor with HMC Industrial Director, Quality Director, Procurement Director and AOS team. HMC AOS Team reported the key bricks (KPI Tree & ISPP) related to performance management domain. They prioritized the performance driven AOS and also attended the HSE & HR Monthly performance management meeting in plant level.  The professional recommendation from them are quite helpful to guide HMC towards the ambition of Maturity A with performance improvement.

Before ending of the visit, a symposium was held between Martin team and all brick owners of HMC. Their lively discussions brought the transparent exchange to promote HMC AOS for next step.

This is the first time for the European AOS headquarters to visit HMC after the pandemic in past three years. European team provided the remote coaching and guidance to HMC during those tough periods., During this meeting, both parties realized the on-site exchange which enhanced the guidance from European team. HMC is looking forward to the close cooperation with experienced AOS experts towards the business excellence journey together.
