Build Aviation Dream for Children and Science Popularization into School Activity Held by HMC

Flying on the wind is a dream that every child dreams of. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, on September 14th, HMC in collaboration with Kang’an Community held a science popularization lecture on aviation knowledge for students from YouXie Third Primary School.

The engineer from HMC introduced the extraordinary development of aviation to everyone through a video, and then started the lecture with "the impact of aviation on us", leading students into the aviation world. They Looked at the flying dreams of ancient and modern times, both in China and abroad, and felt the flying speed across the latitude and longitude. While igniting everyone's enthusiasm for learning, the lecture also inspires our pride in soaring through the sky as a world aviation power.

Then the engineer vividly introduced the excellent performance and wide application of composite materials known as "wings of the future", and led children to witness the transformation of simulated composite material into lightweight and tough part through simulated curing experiment. Subsequently, the students exchanged and observed the carbon fiber composite material test pieces produced by HMC, touching the smooth lines of the parts and feeling the perfect fusion of composite materials.

In the end, the students conducted an interesting airplane model assembly process under the guidance of HMC Assembly supervisor. After understanding the aircraft structure, everyone quickly entered their roles and worked together to assemble scattered parts into exquisite models. In an active atmosphere, all the students used their creativity to complete the "first delivery" of their lives.

This science  popularization journey brought   a feast   of   knowledge   and   dreams to teachers and students, led

them to experience the integration of aviation charm and technological power. May this small flying seed become the wings of children’s dreams and help them fly to the bright future.
