Zero Food Waste Challenge in HMC

Responding to the iCompany Sustainability Project Team in Airbus Beijing, Zero Food Waste Challenge was launched in HMC from October 21st to 22nd. Everyone strives to be followers of "Zero Food Waste" and develops a thrifty trend of civilized dining.



The
small dining plate can gather our thousand-year farming history and be related to the promise of "Food Security for All". The videos about cherishing food were played on a loop during the Activity. Everyone actively joined and got stamps in Zero Food Waste Challenge in this atmosphere. Within 2 days, 200 employees have completed the challenge and over 30% of food were saved every day. The stamp we printed like medals which continuing the tradition of frugality. This year is the 3rd time we launched the Zero Food Waste Challenge. From tongue to heart, from atmosphere to culture, we were silently promoting the concept of reducing waste and practicing a green and low-carbon production and lifestyle.





The Zero Food Challenge is not only an activity, but also shows HMC’s commitment to sustainable development. In the future, HMC will encourage more employees to participate, working together to safeguard food resources and take corporate social responsibility for energy conservation and environmental protection.
