HMC Launched Energy Conservation Week Activity

To respond to the 33^rd National Energy Conservation Week, implement energy-saving and carbon reduction measures effectively, and accomplish HMC’s KPI on reduce consumption and increase efficiency, with the joint planning and organization of Commercial Department and Human Resources Department, HMC carried out the Energy Conservation Week Activity with the theme of “Energy saving and carbon reduction, you and I go together.”

In order to internalize energy-saving awareness and integrate energy-saving behavior norms into all aspects of work, HMC employees independently shot publicity videos with materials extracted from different work scenarios, refined energy-saving initiatives, and designed posters around the theme of energy saving and carbon reduction. The concepts of water conservation, electricity conservation, cherishing energy, and protecting resources are integrated into the promotional guidance. Finally, the energy-saving publicity effect was further enhanced by repeatedly playing the posters and videos on the large screen.

HMC has always regarded energy as the lifeblood of industry, and in the new stage of the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" era, we are keeping up with the times and placing the target of energy saving and carbon reduction as a top priority. In our daily operation, we have carried out measures such as recycling and utilizing condensate water, reasonably controlling hot water heating time, improving electricity management, and replacing solar street lights and workshop LED lighting to standardize and scientize energy-saving work. The comprehensive energy consumption is expected to decrease by 5% year-on-year in 2023, with significant energy-saving and efficiency enhancing effects.

In the future, we will deeply cultivate the concept of energy saving and carbon reduction and strive to create a comfortable and healthy low-carbon environment. Let green become the bright background forHMC to move forward, and let energy conservation become an engine for high-quality development.
